YRBS stands for the Youth Risk Behavior Survey. This questionnaire is completed by students in grades 9 through 12 at a random selection of schools. The YRBS collects information about many behaviors which education and public health try to affect. This survey also gathers information on adolescent nutrition and exercise habits both in and out of school. West Virginia’s YRBS data can be found at
